Acts 1:8

Jesus commanded the church to take the gospel to the ends of the earth and He gave us a model in Acts 1:8 that is local, regional, national, and international.  With this model, our church can be a worldwide mission center to:

Our Jerusalem...

There are people in our community who may never choose to come to our church.  We must go to them with servants' hearts and the gospel message.

Our Judea...

Throughout our state and region, there are people who drive the same roads, cheer for the same teams, and appear moral or even religious. But many are relying on false beliefs or their own efforts rather than a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  We must build bridges to them, and carry the gospel across those bridges.

Our Samaria...

In North America, it is estimated that 7 out of 10 people--about 235 million--do not have a personal relationship with Jesus.  Our past religious heritage has given way to a predominantly secular or even idolatrous culture.  We must cross whatever barriers separate people from the gospel message.

Our Ends of the Earth...

Of the 6.2 billion people now on earth, 3.4 billion live in about 6,500 unreached people groups. Southern Baptist missionaries are now reaching into almost 200 new people groups each year. We must pray, give, and go with them to the ends of the earth.
