Local Missions

Local missions start with the understanding that there are people in our community, state, and region that may never choose go to church. It is our call - given to us by Jesus in Matthew 28:18-20 - to go to them with servants' hearts and the gospel message. Local Missions don't just stop with state-lines, but extend to the other side of our nation! In North America, it is estimated that 7 out of 10 people (235 million people) do not have a personal relationship with Jesus. We are called to take love, grace, peace, and the gospel to those people to show them the love of Jesus. There are multiple ways for you to get involved both with Petal First Baptist and individually!

International Missions

Of the billions of people on earth, over 3 billion people live in 6,500 unreached people groups. While it is easy to serve locally, Jesus' command to the apostles and to believers today is to take the Light of the Gospel into the darkness of the world. Petal First Baptist church has answered to call to serve those in Haiti and in Southeast Asia by helping spread the Good News of Jesus Christ.
