Here at Petal FBC, we believe in obeying God’s commandment in Matthew 28:19-20 to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age.”

We are also committed to living out the Great Commission by engaging in both local and global missions, recognizing that every act of service and kindness has the potential to make a significant impact in someone's life.

We believe it's our duty as followers of Christ to share His love with others and to be His hands and feet in a broken world. Through missions, we have the opportunity to demonstrate God's love in tangible ways, to meet both the physical and spiritual needs of those around us, and to build bridges of understanding and friendship across cultures and communities.

In the coming months, we are excited to offer several mission trips that reflect our commitment to serving both near and far. 

UPCOMING TRIPS:

Canada - June 26th to July 2nd, 2024 - where we will have the privilege of partnering with a local church and the Send Network through the SBC to support their ministry efforts and share the gospel with those in need.

Memphis, TN - September 28th to October 3rd, 2024 - where we will participate in outreach initiatives aimed at serving the marginalized and vulnerable populations in the area.

Southeast Asia - Fall 2024 - Additionally, we are eagerly anticipating our mission trip to Southeast Asia in the fall of 2024, where we will have the opportunity to engage in cross-cultural ministry and support local churches and missionaries in their efforts to spread the good news of Jesus Christ.

Dominican Republic - TBD - Finally, we are actively planning a mission trip to the Dominican Republic, with dates to be determined, where we will have the privilege of serving alongside our partners in ministry and making a difference in the lives of those in need.
