Get connected

EVERYONE HAS A NEXT STEP. WHAT'S YOURS?

We hope our church can be a place where you connect to others and find a home. Here at our church, we believe in the core values of inclusivity and redemption, grace and love and, above all - the transforming power of Christ. We never arrive, but we are all committed to walking the journey together. Our dedicated team would love to connect with you and hear more of your story, and help find the best place for you to flourish.

We're so excited you're interested in learning more about who we are and joining the family!

Intentional Relationships

Connect

The one thing Jesus stressed was community.  In Genesis, God created man and woman because He knew it "wasn't good for man to be alone" (Genesis 2:18).  God himself is in community.  We call this the Trinity - God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit.  Jesus, when he started his ministry, surrounded himself with a community of disciples.  Needless to say, community is a major need for believers.  Throughout scripture we see the importance of community (Galatians 6:2; Ecclesiastes 4:9-12; Acts 2:42-47; 1 Corinthians 1:10; James 5:6).  These are just to name a few.  So, intentional relationships is a major value and we want you to be connected.  Follow the links below to contact the church to see how you can get connected or find a small group where you can walk with other believers and grow in your faith!

Life Transformation

Grow

Jesus stressed community, but he also stressed life transformation over religious rule following.  When Jesus came, the Israelites were still following the Jewish Law to keep them holy in God's sight.  Sometimes, we can still have this mindset of I must do ______ so God loves me.  This is not the case anymore (for those who have a relationship with God through Jesus).  Paul actually writes to the church in Galatia in Galatians 3 that the primary purpose of the Law was show people their sins so they could turn back to Jesus.  The Law was never meant to be fulfilled by us.  It was meant to show us that we NEEDED God.  Jesus came to fulfill that Law.  That is why in His ministry, Jesus started to redefine the Law to a more relational point of view - to show that it is about life transformation, not rule following.  How can we live a transformed life?  We can only live it through God.  That means we need to pursue our relationship with God on a daily basis through prayer, meditation on scripture, and service to Him.  If you want to learn more about what it means to grow in your walk with Christ, you can call the church office and we would love to talk with you about growing in your relationship.  If you are looking for structure in your spiritual growth, you can download our Church app on the App Store or Google Play Store and follow along in our year long reading plan.

Sacrifical Service

Commit

Jesus came to the earth to serve, not to be served (Mark 10:45).  Jesus calls us to follow his example.  We need to be a people that doesn't mind getting our knees dirty as we kneel down to wash other's feet as Jesus did for the disciples.  It is a command, not a suggestion.  However, God doesn't want us to serve out of obligation.  He wants us to serve out of the overflow of our hearts.  Serving is not striving, serving is surrendering. We also want you to know that your gifts are special.  Not everyone has the same gift and God created us that way so we could work together as a community.  If you want to get plugged in and serve, you can follow the link below.  We will be in touch with you.

FIND A PLACE TO SERVE

Missional Living

Go

Before Jesus ascended into heaven, He commanded the disciples to go and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18-20).  This command stands for us as well.  In Acts, Jesus commanded the disciples to be His witnesses in "Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria, and the remotest part of the earth" (Acts 1:8).  This is the call for us as well.  You see that Jesus did not say only to the remotest parts of the earth, but he explained it essentially as "be my witness to your neighbors, to your state, to your country, and to the world."  We have plenty of opportunities to serve and live on mission.  Follow the links below to see where you can serve, give, and pray!
