A Reality Check & Wake Up Call

Some Obvious Observations

1. The world has changed and it’s going to keep changing.
2. We cannot return to the past (and in so many ways we don’t need to nor should we want to)
3. We are changing even as things around us change
4. It urges us to look for something permanent Take a Look…

• Face the Future
• Examine Yourself
• Search for Truth

1. The heart of humanity hasn’t changed
2. God’s desire for people hasn’t changed
3. God continues to be faithful and compassionate, and He wants us to be faithful and compassionate too.
4. God’s truth remains unchanged as revealed in Scriptures.
5. The world has changed and it’s going to keep changing, but God never changes; so we need to cling to Him.

Our Hope   Deuteronomy 6:4-25

• We must Focus on what matters most – Love Our God with all that we are
• We must Forge our family in the Truth
• We often Forget the Lord & His commands
• We choose to Follow (Seek) after the wrong things
• We choose to Follow His Way
• We need to Fortify the Faith in the next generation
• We need to Fear the Lord

We Need to… 

• Wake Up
• Listen Up
• Step Up
• Look UpComplacency blinds us to reality, so wake up. Knowledge sets us free, so listen up. Discernment prompts us to act courageously so step up. God loves us unconditionally, so look up.
