LIFE TRANSFORMATION OVER MORE INFORMATION
We strive to become what Christ calls us to be and do by applying what we are learning.
Romans 12:1-3; 2 Corinthians 3:18; Colossians 1:28; Ephesians 4:15; James 1:22-25, 2:14-26
Demonstrated By:
- Continual spiritual & numerical growth in all areas of our church
- More people understanding their call to be a disciple who then makes disciples
- A continual emphasis on, not simply attaining more knowledge, but also a lifestyle of obedience and application of God’s Truth
I Must Decide & Declare Who & What Is the Standard
I Must Not Be Deceived
How Can We Deceive Ourselves & Not See the Distortion?
- We Close our Lives (Eyes)
- We Conceal our lives
- We Compare our lives
- We Compartmentalize our lives
- We Control & Comfort our lives
- We Compromise & Condone our lives
I Must Deliberately Determine Where I Am Spiritually
I Must Delight in & Depend on Jesus
I Must Dwell in & Deposit the Word (The Being)
My Life Must Demonstrate the Difference = Transformation (The Doing)
We must not just Glance at our lives or simply Glance at Jesus or His Word – We must Gaze into THE MIRROR (Our Savior & His Standard) and allow Him to Gaze into us.
