• They were blinded and closed off to the truth

• We are too complacent & too comfortable to be bothered
• We can become cynical & callous
• We are catered to
• We can become consumers and not contributors

Their Confusion & Ours

• They were living compartmentalized lives
• We too often live compartmentalized lives
• It can contradict what we think or know or believe
• We are closed off to the truth

Their Clarification, Change & Ours

• Our eyes have to be opened
• Our hearts have to be changed
• Our souls must be stirred
• Our hands and feet must move

Their Calling, Commission, Chance & Ours

• We need to be challenged, convicted, & compelled
• We need compassion
• We need to connect with those who don’t know Christ
• We need a fresh commitment to communicate the truth of the Gospel to others
• We need to be willing to get out of your comfort zone and go where He calls us to go
• We need courage for it can be costly
