LISTEN TO THE WORD
- Be in LifeGroups & Worship each Sunday to hear it!
- Stay on the journey to Reading God’s Word every day in 2018
- In Numbers, may you hear and respond to God’s clear call about the seriousness of sin and the consequences that follow sin. What do you sense God is saying to you?
LEARN THE WORD
- As you read through Numbers (in a few months) – what do you see and learn that you didn’t know before? How does that change you?
- What do you discover new about God as you read through Numbers? His call on His people? Read 1 Corinthians 10:1-13 What does it teach and warn you?
- As you look at & learn more about the pictures that were the scarlet thread pointing to the coming of the Savior, Jesus, how does that change you and how you read Numbers as you read the story of the Bronzed Snake?
LOVE THE WORD
- How do you see God’s great love throughout the book of Numbers in particular the discipline of God on His people? Name some of those specific ways. How do they make you love God more?
LIVE THE WORD
- Take some time to evaluate and ask the Lord to reveal any areas of discontentment in your life which was such a huge problem for the Israelites as they were on their journey. What are they? What do you need to do in response?
- Where do you think your generation is in following the Lord and His call? How do you think you fit in that picture? What needs to change in you and your generation in order to follow God’s clear call?
- How can you apply the call to not complain and criticize in your life? What needs to change in your life in this area?
- Be willing to share what you learn with others who you come in contact with – don’t just get the Word in you, but also get it out of you!!
