OUR MOTIVES The WHY
- Relationship Over Isolation
We desire to live in community doing life together by overcoming barriers that cause isolation.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12; 1 Thessalonians 2:8; Hebrews 10:25; Matthew 18:15-17; Mark 12:30-31
- Life Transformation Over More Information
We strive to become what Christ calls us to be and do by applying what we are learning.
Romans 12:1-3; 2 Corinthians 3:18; Colossians 1:28; Ephesians 4:15; James 1:22-25; 2:14-26
- Biblical Truth Over My Opinion
We make every decision based on the absolute truth of God’s Word instead of personal preference.
2 Timothy 3:16-17; 4:1-5; Romans 15:4; 16:25-26; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Hebrews 4:12; Isaiah 40:8
- Investing Over Consuming
We seek to leverage our influence and resources to make disciples rather than being self-absorbed.
1 Timothy 6:17-19; Mark 10:35-45; Matthew 19:27-30; 1 Peter 4:10; 5:1-4; Ephesians 6:7-8; Galatians 5:13-15; Matthew 4:18-20; 6:19-21,24; 25:14-30; 28:18-20; Luke 9:23-24; 16:10-13
- Going Over Staying
We will live a life that engages the world instead of waiting for them to come to us.
Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:7-8; Mark 16:14-16; Luke 24:44-49; Ezekiel 3:16-19; Romans 10:14-15; Isaiah 52:7; 2 Corinthians 5:14-21; Luke 19:10; Matthew 5:9-13; John 20:21-23
- Strong Families Over Busy Calendars
We will equip parents to lead their families to prioritize Christ rather than conforming to the expectations of our culture.
Deuteronomy 6; 11:18-28; Ephesians 5:22-6:1-4; Colossians 3:18-21; Matthew 19:4-6
