LISTEN TO THE WORD

• Be in Worship & LifeGroups every Sunday & Stay on the journey to Reading God’s Word every day in 2018
• Do you hear God’s call encouraging you to bring your requests to Him as He invited Solomon to do? Jesus echoed those words in the NT when He calls us to ask, seek and knock.  May we ask in accordance with the Lord’s heart!  What do you need to ask of the Lord and hear from Him? 
• Are you hearing the message of the need for wisdom?
• Do also hear the message of warning that the Lord gave not only to Solomon but every king that followed of the danger of a divided allegiance? Where might you have a divided allegiance in your walk with the Lord?

LEARN THE WORD

• As you read through 1 & 2 Kings in a few months) – what do you see and learn that you didn’t know before? How does that change how you think and respond to the Lord?
• What do you discover new about the Lord as you read through 1 & 2 Kings and how He works?
• Where do you see the scarlet thread weaving through the book of 1 & 2 Kings?  Hint – promise to David…

LOVE THE WORD

• How do you see God’s great love and mercy throughout the book of 1 & 2 Kings? (Hint – Romans 2:4)
• Would we see the incredible patience of God with His people and offering them chance after chance to repent and return? Where do you need to repent and return in your life today? How does that make you love the Lord even more? 

LIVE THE WORD

• Do you long for God’s wisdom in your life? – The Bible tells us that that wisdom begins with the Fear of the Lord! Do you have that holy reverence? Where do you need wisdom now?
• How is your Worship? Who or What have you worshiped this week?  What changes do you need to make to your worship?
• Where in your life are you not heeding God’s warning and you have begun to waver – confess and repent today! May we hear the Word of the Lord today as the prophets spoke long ago!  Don’t turn away but turn to the Lord!
