LISTEN TO THE WORD
- Do you see & hear God’s call to be in the Word, to hear it preached, listen to it taught and shard in a LifeGroup and even more in your own daily walk with the Lord? Where and how are you listening to the Word of God in your life?
- Do hear the message of the call to be a godly leader in whatever area of influence that you may have? What kind of leader are you? What trait(s) do you hear the Lord speaking to you the loudest that needs the most attention?
- Do you see and hear the clear and powerful call to pray… not to pray when all else fails but to pray at the beginning! What needs to change in your prayer life? What will you do about it?
LEARN THE WORD
- As you read through Nehemiah (in a few months) – what do you see and learn about the Lord that you didn’t know before?
- How do you see the Lord at working in Nehemiah? How does that change how you think and then respond to the Lord?
- Where do you see the scarlet thread weaving through the book of Nehemiah?
LOVE THE WORD
- Do you see the incredible love and grace of God that He chooses to use ordinary people like Nehemiah and people just like me and you to lead others and do extraordinary things?
- How do you love Him more because you know that you can trust Him because He promises to guide and direct every step that you take if you will but trust in Him?
LIVE THE WORD
- Turn to the Word & Turn others to the Word – if you have stopped reading it daily, jump on board with us in Week 15 in the book of 1 Samuel & the Psalms and listen for what the Lord has to say to you and then live it out this week!
- Where you struggling today? Where do you need Jesus to do a specific work in your life? Been tempted to quit and throw in the towel? Gotten discouraged and frustrated? Tell that to the Lord and depend on Him but don’t quit! Stay in it.
- Heart check – do you care about others? Especially those who are broken, struggling, poor, oppressed, abused, etc. What can you do this week to show your care and concern?
